Red light on super hub 3

I have had a constant red light since the 12/04/2024 I have internet but its intermetant

I have tried several times to reboot reset using the brouser and reset buttion and checked my servcies online

the hub feels slightly warm, and very well ventalated

Contacted customer services and i got a blarsay attitude about it being faulty

Its my understanding that a constant red light it either a internal fault or over heating, in my opinion over heating means fire hazard. I am having visions of my house going up inflames while i am not in.

to be honest when i menstioned this to the customer service rep i got a condersending attitude of its not going to burst into flames. this does not give me peace of mind or confidence in the reps abitlity to understand my concerns

Every information i have found online directs me to get it replace for safety reason. even other threads on this forum

could anyone advice me what to do. as insisting I faulty is about as much use a concrete parachute

to say the least am not happy and i have been with virgin media since it started out has Diamond cable back in the early 90s this is the first time I have thought about getting another provider.

Please confirm it’s a Hub3, in which case it will need replacing
