Red flashing light on Hub 4

Hi there,

My virgin hub has started flashing red and I have tried everything to fix it.

I’ve tried to run a service check but it’s saying there’s an issue with the service and when I call the number it provides, it sends me a link to the same broken service status page.

I’ve reset, unplugged, turned it off, checked the connections, made sure it’s not too hot and no matter what I do it returns to flashing red.

I’m at my wits end. Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers..

Hey @Charlotte4145 Thanks for reaching out to us and a warm welcome to the Virgin Media Community forums. 👋🏼

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the red light on the VM hub.
Before we do any checks, can you confirm whether or not you have done the following:

Ensure the hub is not overheating.
It is in a well ventilated area.
And that you have taken out all the cables and have put them back in.

Let us know and we can go on from there.

Kind regards,
Ilyas.

The HUB 4 is not overheating if it shows a RED light, it  has no connection to Virgin's Network (new out box before activation or if a fault).
