Power Levels high side

Dada93
On our wavelength

Hi good people of the forum!

I had a nightmare experience with VM last year, but got it installed again this year and it seems to be all solved.

They replaced an isolator and removed what they call “sausage skin” from a few stingers that was causing thousands of post rs errors and dropouts (hours per day).

Solved now, but I can see my power levels are a touch high and going over the VM recommended of 10db.

Can someone arrange to have this sorted? Or even tell me what attenuator I need (if so) to do it myself?

Cheers!

Although some of the downstream are indeed out of spec unless it is impacting your service I doubt you need an attenuator. The log message are fine and the Pre errors are normal. Wait for a VM staff member to give their view,

That's a trivial difference. Most channels are within spec. I wouldn't worry about it.

So far it has been a miserable experience again, however some progress has been made in terms of internal rewire was completed due to an indentified problem.

I have decided to let a BQM run on my line, seems to be packet loss scattered here there and everywhere. No specific times, but I'm no expert. I am however feeling it in applications that require a stable connection.

Care to take a look?

Your BQM is currently showing no connection/  Is it set to the correct WAN IP?
