Poor signal strength

Despite the engineer saying the router was more than capable of giving a strong signal throughout our house, signal dropouts and weak signal are occurring in two rooms.

Virgin website and app just send you round in circles trying to order pods and don’t even know if I can get them for free? 

any help welcome

You have two options ...

1) Realise the Connect app can not order VM Pods and spend hours / days / weeks trying to get VM to issues you 1 VM Pods at a time only to end up locked into quite the worst quality of Wi-Fi network imaginable.

2) Today you order a retail Wi-Fi Mesh & tomorrow you install a Wi-Fi system with enough nodes to cover your property.  A Wi-Fi network that works with any ISP and that is under your controll.

Pods are free on 1GB or for volt customers otherwise they are £8 per month.

Thanks for getting back - £8 a month? That’s nearly £200 for the length of the contract for 2 rooms of poor coverage - disgraceful - a one off charge I’d go with - shame as Sky’s was free - ah well won’t be staying long with virgin im afraid.

Thank you for reaching back out, our WiFi Max comes with up to 3 Pods if needed, the £8 covers all and is not per Pod.
