Signal strength

In the last few days the signal strength on both my TV360 boxes has dropped from GOOD to FAIR. I’ve done all the usual things (checked connections, tightened where necessary) but no joy. There is some pixelation on several channels as well

      We apologise for the pixelation issues you experienced with your television services the other day. Our teams worked to identify the fault as a priority and restored services as soon as we could.

      How's the signal strength on the boxes today? If still the same, can you ensure all the white cabling is finger tight, no kinks/cracks at all and then reboot?

        Hi

        I've checked that the white cabling is finger tight, no kinks or cracks & rebooted the whole system but still only getting a 'fair' signal strength

  • If it has an attenuator fitted to the cable before it goes into the box, remove it.

      Thanks for coming back to the thread. 

      Is there still pixelation happening? If so, can you try a new HDMI cable for us to see if this fixes it? Also check a separate HDMI port on the TV as well.

        Faulty HDMI connections tend to exhibit as colour tints rather than picture breakup. They will also affect all content regardless of source.

        So check whether OnDemand and/or streaming services are affected as well as live broadcast TV. If they are, then the commonality is indeed the video output. If internet-based content is OK, then the likely culprit is the co-ax feed of live TV.

  • I've tried both, still the same I'm afraid - also some channels are showing as signal is bad, some as fair

    I have 2 box's & 2 TV's and happening on both
