last night I paused a few devices on the app, now I can’t access anything to reconnect

These steps match the VM Hub 3 that we have, if you have a different VM Hub there may be variations but the idea is the same i.e Disable BOTH Wi-Fi Filtering ( aka Pausing ) AND MAC Filtering to re-enable all of your devices.
Login to the Hub's menus at http://192.168.0.1
1) Advanced settings >>> Wireless >>> Security
1.1) then set Wireless MAC Filtering to Disabled
1.2) "Apply changes"
2) Advanced settings >>> Security >>> MAC Filtering
2.1) then delete all entries in the MAC filter list
2.2) Enable Always on
2.3) "Apply changes"

Connect a laptop direct to the VM Hub with a network cable to perform the above steps.
