New wall socket needed

Hi,

I need a new wall socket installed in the middle of the house so that the wifi signal can be evenly distributed. My current one is not strong enough to reach my room.

Can I book a technician asap please?

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.

You should call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, option 2 (Faults

When calling Faults ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.

Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.

Hi,

No technician answered the phone and there is no option to book an appointment for a technician in my log in page. Please help!

We can see on the systems on our side that you've since been in touch. 

To request to relocate the equipment there would be a £25 call-out charge for this. If you still require assistance on this and are happy to go forward with a relocation request knowing of the charge, let us know and we can get this arranged for you.

Yes I am still interested please. Can the relocation be anywhere of my choice or is it limited due to cable access?

Thanks for the update on this @Meelo24. we do try to put the socket where the customer may choose for it to be located, we will assess to see if the socket can be placed there, if not they will discuss with you the most ideal. We would need to bring you in for a private message so that we can get someone out to you and we can grab some details of where you wish to have it located so they have a heads up.
