The light on my hub/router is now red and it is hot to the touch. I understand this means it needs replacing. How do I get this done?

PS. The WiFi network name and password has been altered, so I am afraid to try to reset it to factory settings with the pinhole thing, even if I could find the pinhole thing, for fear it would then revert to the previous network name and password and cut me off from it. I am 80 and not very tech savvy. And surely it shouldn't be hot....?

Hey galpat, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about this.
Let me send you a DM however in the meanwhile please can you try these few steps for us;
• Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.
• Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight.
• Then use the power switch to turn the unit back on. The Hub should now operate normally.

Have replied to your DM. There is no visible power switch on the hub, but I switched the power off at the wall last night and left it to cool down, but still red when I switched it back on, and quite hot to the touch this morning.
