Moving the router

Hello first time posting!

We have a VM socket in a bedroom upstairs and a VM socket in the front room! The router is up in the bedroom I wondered is it possible to move the router from up stairs to the front room and plugging it in is it that simple or do I need a technician to move it?

A VM technician will move it for £25.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Depends if both sockets are connected to a splitter, and what the cable is like.    Why not try it and see ?
