I have the HUB 5, and at the start of the year I had a lot of issues with my internet where my upstream channels were stuck at 1 (normally should be 5).
I had a lot of hub downtime too. I had multiple engineers come over to get everything changed over and fixed, they changed all the cabling, my hub was replaced, it did seem to fix things eventually, but now I feel like it's starting again.
One of the engineers I've been speaking to (he isn't from my area, so he hasn't attended) said that the cabling outside needs to be put in a proper box as the box isn't there. None of the engineers have replaced the outside plastic box and I think with the weather getting worse, it's affecting my signal again. I may be totally wrong here, but that's what I was suggested and nothing else should be causing the issue.
My PC (where I notice the drop) is connected via ethernet. When it drops I notice that my game launchers (and 1 game) start trying to sign me in. If I'm playing an online game, sometimes I notice the game freeze and fix itself. It happens so fast that the game doesn't even recognise that I've disconnected.
I've done a SamKnows test - things seem fine there, I've restarted the Hub, that hasn't helped. On the status log report, under Downstream I have 100,000s of pre/post RS errors
I'm not sure what the issue is and if I can find out if my router actually does go down or not, even if for a second. I've also signed up for the BB quality monitor to see if there's any issues it can detect, not been long enough to get an update.
This is an older photo of my issues before.
