Hub5 not working with my works Cisco AnyConnect

Hi

I have a hub5 which works great with all my personal devices.  However, it is very temperamental with my works system especially Cisco AnyConnect.  It can take multiple tries to log in and then often disconnects after a few minutes.

Does anyone know of a solution please?

Use hub in modem mode when you need to use Cisco AnyConnect or get your own router with 1Gb ports

      Hi

thanks for the help. Unfortunately my work provides me with a surface pro so I can’t use an Ethernet cable?

      any other suggestions?

I’ve turned off Child safe mode and everything appears to be working fine

"Child Safe" does block VPNs, turn it off in your Virgin Media online account.

  • I had the same issue. Other VPNs were fine, just Cisco causing problems. Turning off child safe made no difference. Office IT was no help either. Eventually I switched to modem mode and bought a TP-Link router. Everything is now fine.

Thanks for the update Spudulika, although the work around isn't ideal we're pleased to hear you were able to get this resolved.
