I can’t connect my I phone 12 to the VM connect app.
Downloaden and set up the app, then I get error message “Looks like you’re out”.
Have reset the hub and in/ & reinstalled the app a few times with no luck.
Has anybody come across this before & found a solution?

The link below returns the devices public IP - it should also show the ISP as Virgin Media
https://whatismyipaddress.com/
Using a browser it should be possible to access the hub menu at : http://192.168.0.1/
this is how we manage our Hub 3.

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first posts.
Sorry to hear you are having issues accessing the Connect app. We can understand the frustration caused and want to best help. Can you confirm if this happens across multiple devices? Is this your first time trying with your iPhone 12? Are you running the latest operating systems on the device?
Thanks,

The iPhone must have the same public IP as the VM Hub.
The VM Connect app can not function when a VPN such as Apple Relay is present.

I’m on iOS17.3.1.

Thank you, this is helpful.
How do I check if IPs are the same?

Just reread the comment and noticed I missed a couple of questions:
- I’ve only installed the VM connect app on my phone, so can not say if I’d have the same problem on another device,
i uninstalled theapp a long time ago and was able to use it, not sure what changed, I’m afraid.
