Hub 5x Modem Mode

I've just had Vm internet installed today and was given the 5x hub with fibre in home set up. I've got my own mesh routers ready to go but the hub settings don't have a "modem mode" like all videos and forums online say it should. 

Any idea why I don't have this option ?

I’ve just literally got the email to say virgin is now available in my area and I’m guessing it will be XGS-PON. 

Was hoping this would be solved and the 5x would have modem mode but nope so looks like I need to stick with my current ISP for now 😞

I have modem only mode on my super hub 5, however it does not work properly as the override dns settings on my asus router will not work. they still remain on virgin medias dns servers. never had this problem with my super hub 3

This thread is related to the HUB 5x, so I'm unsure why you are posting an issue related to the HUB 5?
