Hub 5x Modem Mode

Service installed today. Sales rep told me modem mode is now working on Hub 5x at time of sale. It is not, unless there is an update I or the significant number of waiting Hub 5x users don't know about?

What is the latest please?

Did the sales rep lie to me?

Of course VM lie when its something the customer wants VM being so sure of themselves they can't be wrong in selling you a NAT solution that you don't get your WAN IP to your device.

virgin are not the only one.. BRSK have just come to our area and I had the door salesman telling wopping great lies to get me to buy and I deliberatly asked questions that I knew the anwers to with them.. anyhow I have seen somepeople say it is here but others say it is not. I suspect it is being phased?

Thanks. Do you know who you can actually talk to in order to either - get on the phased plan or some update or register interest/dissatisfaction? I've been a VM customer before, I know the phone line means hours of holding, going through people who can't answer your question etc. Anything better than that or these forums?

These forums are better than any VM channel because truth gets told and knowledgeable facts are passed on by everyone except VM.

Indeed, don't waste a moment calling VM, you will not get a roadmap or any comment of future offerings & functionality.

As you've been advised here, Modem Mode is not yet available for the Hub 5x so we do appreciate your frustrations.
