Hub 3 overheating

Hi, the light on the front of my hub 3 is always red to indicate the unit is overheating. I have moved the location of the hub to a well ventilated space and restart it many times, but it keeps on overheating. This overheating is impacting my wifi connection. How do I get a replacement hub?

May not be overheating - Hub3's are known to degrade to showing a red LED over time.  Is it actually hot ?

That said - it needs replacing a VM person will respond here in a day or so.

But its unlikely to be the cause of any connection issues.

Can we check… are your issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check on one to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection/Hub related?

We're sorry to hear the hub is showing a red light. We'd need to look at booking an engineer to come and check things out for you and replace the hub if needed.
