Hub 3 Restarting

Hi,

Ive got a Virgin Media Hub 3.0 in an extender mode ( I changed the IP address to 192.168.0.253 and un checked the DHCP server) but it keeps on restarting. Can anyone help?

I meant I changed the IP address to 192.168.0.253 and un-checked DHCP server and then plugged the Hub into a TP-Link power line

No you can't do that look to get your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode

I suspect the Hub 3 in the original post in in the ROI and that is a different product to what we have here in the UK.

Crystal ball gazing : Perhaps your rebooting Hub 3 is writing log records to explain the reboots.

Well I have and I can get Internet from it but it keeps restarting like every 30mins

rest hub don't change anything is your connection stable?

I don’t have a Virgin media contract. I’m with Sky but I can’t get much signal with extender. So I brought a Hub 3.0 from eBay. It works but it’s just the restarting. So can anyone help stop it?
