Hi there 

had a phone call from Virgin media marketing this morning to ask about services etc listened for a while then they wanted lots of information on what I use it for etc informed them we have a SKY  streaming tv, security, internet phones etc and  then I asked them not to contact me re marketing going forward! Well low and behold my internet went off about an hour later and there seems to be an issue with it all working ok until 12. 55 then no internet done all the checks and it all appears ok but Ned to have a technician visit which won’t be until Thursday never had any problems until now and seems as though it’s only the internet to my home coincidence that this phone call happened I asked to receive no marketing call and my internet went down. The Virgin media app I  accessed on my phone shows no issues is this a case of someone turning off my Internet access at source I think it is however I can’t prove it not a happy customer as I have no access to TV can use my phone no issues with this strangely

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Marketing preferences are managed in your VM account.  Logon to your account and set your preferences as you would like.

I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your services, I can assure you that we would not have turned your connection off, if you didn't want to take one of our offers, this could have been an area fault or issues with your services. Are you still having issues with your connection today?
