Extra broadband socket

Just wondering if it’s possible to have another socket installed in a different room in my house. I’d like to move my router to a more convenient location which is in an upstairs bedroom but I would also like to keep the existing socket downstairs in case I ever wanted to move the router back. Is this possible?
Thank you,

James

Yes that should be possible.  £25 non fault call-out fee for this work.  The unused socket just needs a termination cap when not being used.
