Adding Extra Box

We have 360 box. Want to get tv in another room.

Had a technican visit us 2 month ago with a problem with the box. We asked him how we could get tv in other room. He said we could get a Wifi Streaming Box to get tv in other room.

Talked to 4 advisors today to try and achieve this. One advisor said we could do this and would cost extra £10 a month and £35 for delivery of box. Said he would talk to supervisor and see if he could get delivery cost removed and would call back.

2nd advisor called back saying we could'nt have Streaming Box and would need another 360 box and run a cable to back of house. We don't want another cable running round house, that's why a Streaming Box seemed ideal. Declined this option.

Talked to last advisor to try and clarify options. This advisor said you could not add Streaming Box to existing contract. When looking on Virgin website it says you can !

I am now in a postion of not knowing what to do next. Any help from yourselves would be appreciated

    Hi Steven

Talked to advisor Monday, one that actually understood what I required. With in  5 mins ordered and box being delivered today.

Dealing with Virgin Call centre must be must be the worst company I ever dealt with. Virgin management seriously need to look at the way it is been run. Have talked to 6 advisors over the past 10 days. The last one actually being able to provide me with the required box.

Even when I put complaint in, the advisor completely misread my needs and there suggestion was to send engineer to check my 360 box !!!!!

Anyway all sorted now, sat waiting for Yodel delivery who said they would contact me as when it would be due. No contact yet at 11.45 as to an approx time !!

    Kind Regards

    Peter

Streaming boxes are now standard for Multiroom installations. What are not being provided is the V360 mini boxes. The mini boxes required a technician visit as a coax feed was required. The streaming boxes work on either Ethernet or WiFi, without needing coax. Yet again another CS foul up.

Thanks. That confirms what I have read about the new streaming boxes. I now have to convince the advisors that this is what I want !!!
