Alessandro Volta

Your first picture shows a Wifi speed test. VM only promise 30 Mbps using their WiFi devices.

Your second pic hasn't cleared moderation yet. Did it contain personal data?

The BQM shows some spikes this morning caused by your speed tests. Did you do a reset yesterday to cause that red patch?

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

You get a spike every time you do a speed test.

Well your getting 1Gb to the hub I guess them errors are not a problem

Also test speed by wire

Hey javedsaleem, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

I can see my colleague replied to you on another thread did you see this at all?

Are you still having some connection issues?

New around here?

Hi

I did not see the other thread.

Hi @javedsaleem, our colleague on the other thread you've posted on confirmed that there was no local area issues impacting your connection currently.

Can you please confirm if you're experiencing connection issues on Wi-Fi only, or are wired connections also effected?

Thanks,

David_Bn

Hi

Isn't possible, that if the Power (dBmV) is too high, that there could be noise on the line.

The original Power (dBmV) level is between 15-17, before VM fitted an 10dB Attenuator.

That's because at the Street Box, we are plugged into the top line of the Amplifier Sockets.

If we were moved DOWN a few lines on the Amplifier Sockets Board, is there a possibility that the noise may reduce and we can do away with the Attenuator
