Constant red power light on Hub 3.0

Hi all,

I have a solid red power light on my Hub 3.0. I have followed all the possible steps to rectify this, but nothing that I have found will change it. Wi-fi works with no problem, the house phone (wired to the hub) works ok, TV box connects, but this red light is constantly on. The router is slightly warm on the top, as normal, but even after 4 days unplugged, the light was on again, straight after the reboot. And I've reset it. So none of that has worked. I am now out of ideas. Any suggestions, please?

Hey @greyrocker,

Thanks for getting back to us, for this then I would like to go about getting a technician booked in for you to come review the Hub in case it needs replacing, for this I will just need some information from you via a private message.

Hi @greyrocker

Welcome back to the community forums

Sorry to hear of your red light concerns on your router. This can sometimes be caused by an LED error rather than any service concerns. We can try and rectify this for you to see if the error resolves itself.
Please can you try a 60 second pin hole reset on the router. This will revert any customisations back to factory settings and full update the router with firmware/software updates. Please do not reboot the router whilst it is completing the pin hole request.

Let us know how you get on after this 60 second reset.
