Connecting smart devices after merging/ optimising networks

Hi! Recently received a booster pod to help with WFH upstairs. It's been helpful. But when installing it required me to merged the 2.4 and 5g wifi networks, and that means I could no longer connect smart plugs / lights/ devices which i previously had set up up on timers and voice activation. Today i resplit the wifi and reconnected the devices, but that has made the pod stop working (constant slow blinking white light)  any solutions?

Don't use VM stuff send pods bac get your own router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode

The VM Pod is just a Wi-Fi Repeater locked down to a VM Hub.

A retail Wi-Fi Repeater allows split SSIDs, it also allows different SSIDs to be used on the for the extended output.

Have a look at ...

Hello Louiseg3.

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

It looks like you have been advised of a solution already.

Our pods will only work with  Broadband optimisation turned on so both bands work together and not split.
