Any idea why the connect app is not detecting my household devices?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
What is the app showing please? Can you send us a photo of it?
It could be something like having a VPN on your device with the app on causing it not to work.
Have you also got the WiFi bands split as well?

The Connect app is broken. There are many reports on here of it not working. In particular if you have a Hub 4 it can stop the Hub working properly.
You can do everything that the Connect app does, and more reliably, by logging on to the Hub with your browser at 192.168.0.1.
