Connect App Update causing Wifi Pod problems

It seems that the Virgin Connect App recently updated and now my Wifi Pods have become extremely unstable. They disappear all together, then return, then show weak signals. They have worked totally fine for quite a while and now suddenly they have become very unreliable. 

My Connect App is showing Build version 12.40.16 , Hardware SM-S918B , Operating System 14.

Has anyone else had this problem. Or does anyone from Virgin know anything about this?

Thanks for your post.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your pods after the connect app update.

We haven't been made aware of anything similar from other customers.

So what I would like to do is take a look at this for you.

If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security first.
If you can check the logo top right of your screen that would be great. 



A common problem with VM Pods or Wireless Repeaters is they are sited where there is a poor or no signal from the Hub.    E.g. right next to a games console in a bedroom where the VM Hub gives virtually zero signal.

A simple test is with the VM Pod turned off, does your mobile have a good signal and give a decent speed test.
If the answer is no & no - this is not a suitable location for a VM Pod.
