Hub 3 wifi connection problem

I have a hub 3 and am getting wifi connection problems with all my devices. Even in the same room as the hub. The speed is bad, when I do manage to connect. I have got a pod and it hasn't made a difference. The hub about 5 years old and I'm wondering if the WiFi part of the hub is falling

  • What Wi-Fi device are you testing with ?

Try this link to see check the speed to the Hub and then to see the speed between the Hub and Wi-Fi device.

Once the test begins click on: Run full test to see all the stats.

VM Pods are just Wi-Fi repeaters, the placement is critical to getting any sort of results, but remember crossing any make of Wi-Fi repeater may extend the range but it comes at the cost of available speed.

For us the Wi-Fi of the Hub 3 became very stable when we set manual Wi-Fi channels for both the 2.4 & 5GHz bands.    This may require Wireless Optimization to be Disabled but it was the fix for us.

I used the settings like you said and it's a lot better, no more drop outs and speed is good too
