Tried rebooting. Happens up close and in different rooms. On phones, laptops and connected devices e.g. Alexa. Should I buy a new router? Speed check says Latency 20.1ms, Jitter 1.90ms, download 274Mbps, Upload 26.1Mbps.

Repeated Wi-Fi drop outs can be caused by use of Auto Channels,
try manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on the 2.4GHz band
or by use of DFS channels on the 5GHz range try channels 36 or 44.
