So twice in the last 24 hours my router has crashed and my entire internet has gone down when playing the new call of duty black ops 6, only happens when playing this title through xbox gamepass on pc, the game will freeze for 10 seconds mid match then my entire internet will crash forcing me offline for roughly 5 minutes until the router corrects itself, when looking at the virgin app it says "intermittent signal in your area"
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.
Note if there are area faults, VM will not send a technician until all issues are resolved.

Does "my router" mean a 3rd party Router that you have supplied is crashing ?
If not, which model of VM Hub is involved and what is in the Hub's Log tab at the time of the crash ?

I have the same issues with HUB5 internet just goes down for no reason COD gives hueneme - concord error which implies poor internet connection which shouldnt be a thing with 1GB down 100MB up. My internet in my whole house stays up but on my PC there is no internet access when playing certain games i have to restart over and over till the game decides to stay connected. This isn't the only game that has issues for me either Arena Breakout does the same and the Delta Force game all have internet issues when launching the game. Something is clearly wrong with the hub 5 i have a few mates who play the same games on the HUB4 and have 0 issues

Also for the record my PC is fully uptodate i have tried many different network drivers tried using wifi instead of cable etc all has the same outcome

I think you are mistaking bandwidth with latency.
It doesn't matter if you have Gig1 if the latency is terrible.

I understand the difference, once im connected i stay connected with 0 issues on start up though the games make my internet drop connection it only happens with 3 specific games. I can browse my phone on the same connection no issues and all other devices in the house also work during this time. The latency until i open 3 specific games is perfectly fine and stays stable most local games i have around 12 ping and i never get packetloss.

Which implies you believe a fast internet connection meant you wouldn't have issues with gaming.
Try setting up a BQM.
