Address list in Newton Aycliffe

Hi!

I’ve recently noticed loads of work around Newton Aycliffe. I was hoping it’s fibre and today I’ve had a chat with an engineer who confirmed that they’re doing fibre for Virgin.

I’ve checked the forums and have read that some areas are getting done and some aren’t. Is there a way that I could find out if my street is getting done, as I’m currently out of contract and would rather not commit to my rubbish of a 9mbps internet.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Forums. It's great to have you on board with us in the Community and even better that you are wanting Virgin Media services. 

There's no list as such that we can offer however I'm happy to find out if there are any current plans in the making for your address. To do that I will need your full address. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

I have forwarded the address over to our lightning teams now to see if there are any plans. 

Once I get a reply from the team I will let you know, good or bad. Just to set expectations it may take a few days depending on how busy they are 😊

Thanks for your patience on this one. The team have come back to advise that your address is in the plans and they're hoping that it will be released for sale by January 2025. This date is only an estimate and may change however atleast you have confirmation that we'll be available in the area soon 😊
