    In this lengthy post I do not see the words "VM Pod", but assume that is what you may have.
    If you require a split SSID, remove & return VM Pods ASAP.

    Also remove the VM Connect app from your phone as it will re-merge
    the SSIDs of the 2.4 & 5 GHz bands on the VM Hub.

    Buy a retail Wi-Fi repeater(s) or a better a Wi-Fi Mesh and
    you will be able to have good split SSID coverage in the house.

    Thank you so much, yes these are VM Pods, yes I require split SSIDs, yes I will remove the Pod and invest in something better,  basically though I only paid for the Volt add on to get the free network extenders and now find they are useless to me.  I don't mind investing in a better solution, but I do feel I have paid for something that has no benefit
