Says account doesn't exist

Just joined

I am trying to log in to my virgin media account but it says it doesn't recognise my details. I have tried to click forgot my email but then even when I enter the correct account number and area code that is on my bill, it still says it doesn't recognise it. This is frustrating so I would appreciate some help please.

Thank you for your post, welcome to the Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear you've been struggling to access your My Virgin Media account. Have you moved home at all recently? If so, your My Virgin Media account won't automatically move onto your new account at your new address, so this could be what's happened. 

When you enter the area reference, if it starts with a '0', have you been entering this, or just '1' for example? You'd need to enter two digits for this and the account number, which is usually 9 digits long.

Had exactly the same issue - took 5 months to resolve.  Finally got sorted this week.  Virgin deny they done anything to my account, but once posted on here - suddenly it works.  Good luck.
