Have reinstalled Virgin Media connect app but saying my Hub 4 is not recognised, have reinstalled hub and internet working fine at the moment.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with connect app not recognising our hub 4. And sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing you. Are you attempting to do a WiFi health check? If so, I'm sorry for any issues you may be currently having. But there's other features, including controlling the devices connected to your WiFi.
