Hi just having issues getting me date for renewal or cancellation as it is due rang multiple times get past pillar to post it like they think I'm going to give 30 days notice when I find date out so keep getting messed about spent hours on phone get past to India Philippines no help all I want to do is get my date before my price triple and renegotiate and see what new deals available as I be out of 18 months contract soon it like no one want to give me date or let me know I have to give 30 day notice if I do decide to leave

i've looked says contract start date July 25, 2023 so jan 25 2025 does that mean I have to let them know now

done the online thing says they contact me and cut off didn't get me rep online having a lot of issues with this has anyone else experience this

We're sorry to hear you're having issues finding out your minimum term end date. As mentioned above by another user, this can be viewed online via My VM.
There are a few different ways that you can cancel your services:
1️⃣ You can use the new One Touch Switch service. You sign up with the new provider, ensuring you select the option for One Touch Switch and they'll take care of the cancellation for you. You can find out more information on this here.
2️⃣ You can speak to the team on 0345 454 1111 and selecting options 1, 4 then 4 again. The teams sometimes experience high calls but are working as quick as they can to reach you.
3️⃣You can WhatsApp the team on 07803089684. Replies aren't instant and can take a few hours however it does allow you to go about your day whilst waiting for a reply.
4️⃣ You can write a letter stating that you wish to cancel your services. You will need to include a few details including Your account number, name and full address and contact details for you. Send this to Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA.
The team will process your 30 day notice from any of these routes how if you have any further issues or need any more help, pop back and let us know, so we can assist you further 🙂

Tried doing it through online chat no luck rang got put on hold after hold passed pillar to post so today I've sent letter virgin Sunderland but can you put my 30 day notice on pls private msg me I'll give you my account number and other details required

had to log complaint disconnection date meant to be 26.1.25 but they saying 30th jan 2025 so they can make more money from me its a joke will take it to ombudsman looks like i have no choice luckily i kept proof of letter posted call logs time on calls 2 hours wasted passed one department to another
