Waiting for credit to be refunded

My account was closed on 29th April and I am owed £34.52 in credit. I was advised that this would be refunded within 45 days. It has not been. Virgin Media has my new address and I have not closed my direct debit (I was advised not to do that the refund could be paid directly). Can anyone advise?

Hi Kath_F, thanks for replying. It won't be resolved until the cheque actually arrives. I understand from the agent I spoke to via X last Friday evening that the cheque was due to be posted yesterday. It would be helpful to have confirmation of this so that I know the refund is en route, given that this is the second time I have chased this up.
