We can only get wi-fi in the room that the router is in. Virgin said that we need a wi-fi pod, but needed to upgrade our package to a bunch of TV channels we don't want and an O2 sim card. The sim card arrived and had 7 days to register it, but I couldn't register the sim card with O2, because they said the bank details and postcode don't match. I phoned Virgin a week ago and they kept saying to ring back after 10pm, when the phone line is closed, because of "technical difficulties," and that I'm not allowed to cancel any part of the package because I will owe them money. The new package is £30 less than what I just paid for the service I was using. Virgin won't send the wi-fi pod out until the sim card is registered. I have tried to contact Virgin over the phone, today, but it says that we can't talk to someone until payment has been made. Today is 31st January and payment isn't due until 18th February.
I cancelled my previous mobile provider's sim card to swap to this O2 one, because Virgin said I had no other option, in order to be able to get the wi-fi pod. I now have no mobile phone and I still only one device can connect to the wi-fi at one time. I just want to speak to someone but the phone line keeps saying that I need to make payment. I can't afford to make the payment three weeks early. I haven't long paid the previous month's bill. I can't even press the option to cancel, over the phone, because I can't get that far - it just keeps saying that I need to make a payment, which isn't due for 18 days.

Hi @kazzieg88
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
I am very sorry to hear of this experience. I am not sure why you'd need the SIM unless it's because otherwise the Pods would be £8 per month extra to your monthly bill?
I'll send you a PM now to assist further.
