Unauthorised package change

Hi I have had an email from VM claiming i have changed my package and this will be reflected in my next bill. we have not made this change.
I have had a look online on our account and i cannot see that a change has been made, however i can now no longer log in to my netflix account which is part of my package. it appears to have been compromised.
I have had similar issues before with netflix being added on and hacked and it took forever to sort out

Has anybody else had this issue?

    further update

    My netflix profiles are now all in spanish and are PIN protected, i cannot sign out.
    Also my original email address has been changed and no longer valid, it is asking me to sign up from scratch. This is happening far too frequently now.

      There's a big spike in this happening. VM needs to properly investigate why.

        It happened to my mother recently and took months to sort and was constantly fobbed off. VM 100% know there is a big issue here but have not done anything to sort

        Most of the threads or replies mentioning it get deleted

    Thank you for your patience and I'm really sorry for the delay, I have checked the account and I can see that your package price is  80.51GBP and your contract will come to an end on 20/07/25 and the bill which got generated on 30/12/24 f0r 94.28GBP, it includes the charges of Netflix for the month of December and January and I kindly request you to please ignore the email which you have received and you can contact to Netflix team to change the language and also I can raise an IT ticket and our IT team will contact you and help you change the language, I assure you that there is no changes done, please be rest assured.

    I assure you that you have not been hacked and I can assure you that no other email is linked to Vm and could you please confirm me the email address if you know which have linked to Vm and just to confirm are you unable to logged out from Netflix account or from email account?

    you can contact our Netflix team on **0808 196 5391,**they can check and help and I assure you that there is no changes done on the account, please be rest assured.

    defo the overseas call centre that are in on this
    Quick google of that number and its been reported countless times as being a netflix scam asking for new payment info

    I am getting nowhere with this despite countless conversations. 
    Netflix have confirmed that the email address associated with my account has been changed. I briefly managed to get sight of this on my box see image before the fraudulent account PIN locked all profiles.

    the only way Netflix can cancel this account is by having the service code from VM, everybody I have spoken to has either fobbed me off or claimed they have raised a support ticket. 
    I’ve also been fobbed off my the resolutions team who I am 

    sure just sent a standard reply without even reading my email. 

    things quite frankly ridiculous, there is zero ownership from VM about this fraud that they have enabled and no effort at all to resolve

    Hi We are having the same issue, I spoke to VM who say that we upgraded our Netflix from standard to Premium, despite me telling them we did not (we didn't even know there were two types of Netflix Subscription !) they said they cannot change it back their end I must do it via the website but all options lead to having to contact them again when I've already been advised that they cannot do it. We also had an email from Netflix advising that our email is no longer valid.
