Sorry if this is the wrong board, seems wherever you look on the VM customer support solutions they never have an option for "I'm being f****** around".
Closed my account in August and have been waiting to receive a cheque for £70 credit that was left on it, didn't arrive within 30days so I got in contact via text chat, they assured me they had the correct address and said accounts would get on sending it out. 30 days later still nothing. Starting to feel like virgin media have just cut and run with my money, and are deliberately making it as difficult as possible to get back.

Make a formal complaint to VM first of all (if you have not done so already as it is a required first step)
