Still waiting for my £200 credit

  • I have posted previously on this forum. 
    in April I moved to virgin, as part of the deal £200 credit would be added to my account. Several phone calls later…. I have to wait 60 days.. blah blah blah, then on 60 days they ask for proof of offer! After dispute they offer me a tv, but have to wait 90 days…so wait 90 days and guess what….they have no TV’s! Be aware people this company is scamming people to join, not living up to there end of the deal and threatening us with court action if we refuse to pay our bill. Stuck with these con artists for another year!!

Be careful people! On 27/4 we took advantage of the offer virgin were offering, either a Nintendo switch or £200 added to our account. We opted for the latter… after one month we rang up to ask why our account hadn’t been credited, we were told to wait 2 months. So, at two months we called again, were transferred from department to department and were told it would be there within 48 hours. Again, no money. We called again, on which we were told a manger would call us in 48 hours, which he did to be fair. He then told us we weren’t eligible and we needed proof of deal, he then said we could have a LG tv but would have to wait another 30 days. We then said we wanted to disconnect and they threatened that we would break contract even though they were breaking contract by not honouring the deal. 
i just wanted to warn people. 
I will add this to as many forums as i can so others don’t get drawn in by false promises.
