Shoul I be concerned?

Hi Forum and Forum team

My contract ended on16th September, and on that day I renewed online with a deal that I was happy with.

The new contract activates on 16th October and still shows 'contract pending'.

The 'All Sorted' email I received From the Virgin Media Team, with e- contract attachment, informed me that there would be two adjusted bills, the first £133.00, the second £99.93, and thereafter £115.07.

My Virgin account homepage though, is showing that my next bill will be £144.07.

Is this just an error? or should I be concerned, it does worry and stress me some.

Hey nojjer, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this and a warm welcome to the community.

Until your new contact starts you will still get charged for your old one, yours will start on the 16/10 the way you have described this.

When the 16/10 comes you will start paying for your new deal at the new price, we also bill a month in advance and there could be some pro rota charges on this.

You Should always be concerned when discussing contracts with Virgin Media at the moment.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I just assumed that as the email stated that the next bill would be £133 it would be £133, not £144, so am worried that the new contract will not be activated.

Thanks for your input HavencroftKev, I did go on the renewing contract 'merry go round' 18 months ago, hence my concern, thanks again
