Question re moving house - email account concerns
I have over a year left on my current contract. We are trying to buy a house that is subject to probate. So we may end up selling our current house and having to move into temporary accommodation for a number of months till probate is granted. My question is, if we did have to go into temporary accommodation, would we be able to keep our broadband account as it is and keep accessing our email, until we can move to our new house and get it all set up again? I really don't want to lose my email, I've had it for way over 20 years. But our broadband wouldn't be connected for some time. We don't mind paying as long as we don't lose it.
[MOD EDIT: Subject title changed for clarity]
Hi brockett, thank you for your post.
As long as your e-mail address is attached to an active account, it won't get deleted.
When the time comes that you're moving house, we'd suggest contacting our dedicated movers team on 0345 454 1111 (Option one, then four, then three), or 150 from a Virgin Media landline.
They'll be able to answer any queries you have before actioning the request.
Regards,
Daniel
