Hi All just wondering what deals you are getting when your contract comes to the end.

I have just down graded to 350  mixit tv and weekend calls £78 that is the cheapest they could do it me trying to save a bit of money yet you look at advertising me paying at least double .It's disgusting having been paying top whack for the past 16 years ! I wish I could move to another provider now but with no BT line I'm stuffed . Should I go to Martin Lewis to get this highlighted existing customers being ripped off ??

Hi Converse,

Thank you for your post. We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your renewed deal.

To confirm, new customers are provided with an introductory offer, generally in the form of a limited time discount on the overall price of the package. Once this elapses, the customer would then pay for the same amount every month as any other customer on that same package for the remainder of their contract term. Every single customer at the time of joining us would be provided with an introductory offer, and by extension that would include you.

When you renewed your deal, did the agent go through different bundles that could be made?

Hi Conserve

We can appreciate your frustration and we're sorry to hear you feel this way.

Our offers and discounts are always changing, so it might be worth getting back in touch again soon to see what else we can offer. We have a variety of different package combinations to suit our customers. Sadly we cannot assist with package changes from here, but please consider getting back in touch with the team on 0345 454 1111 / 150 and we can go through your different options with you.

Searching the forums I can see that you had two threads regarding your unhapiness with the deals that were offered which were merged into one thread < Here >

I thought the practice inflating prices when contracts were up for renewal was stopped as it was unlawful or it was it just for car insurance renewals ? After spending a fortune over the years with the top entertainment packages. I was told because I downgraded there were no discounts so loyalty doesn't count all because I can't afford the top package. Like I said I see so many deals out there but stuffed as no BT line .I will be moving soon so will say good bye to being ripped off .

Hi @Conserve,

It's a shame to hear that you feel this way. Our offers are subject to change, meaning a deal available one day may no longer be available the next and vice versa, so if there's nothing that interests you currently there might be something new that's more suited for your needs in the near future.

However, almost all deals will have some form of discount when you begin a new minimum term with it. It gets removed at the end of the term which is why you see the increase at that point. If you were unhappy with the deals discussed with the team, did you discuss any others which may interest you more instead?

Thanks,
