Renewed contract and price increase

Hi,

I just renewed with VM on Tuesday 13 Feb. They following day I read about a 8.8% increase.

so I need clarification on what my Bill will be, the agreed price, or am 8 going to be affected by the increase.  Or do I have re think my options

I apologise to hear about the confusion in relation to the contract renewal and price increase.
In relation the price increase, it depends on which contract you have.

You may have a contract that has the price increase excluded and one contract with the price rise inclusive to the contract.

Renewed mine this week and was told price will not increase until March 2025 so hopefully you get the same answer

I'm wondering whether Virgin Media have to contact and inform those customers whose price is rising and explain how much. 

my old isp was talktalk and yes they did by law as cost changes as also think it is part of dierct debit side too if u read the t&cs
