Renewal woes

My contract is coming to an end and I went online to see my options. I was offered to renew at almost the same monthly fee as before, and I took up the offer. I got all the paperwork by email, contract documents, etc. confirming the price. I have since then received another email stating a price that is the normal, much higher fee, after my current contract has ended, which is later this month. I also received a bill for next month for that high fee. I have tried to contact VM by chat, but was told they can't help me and a manager will contact me in the next week or so by email. I also got the hard sell regarding different, high-cost packages, which I found really offensive. The agent kept writing "shall I go ahead and book this for you" although I had not indicated any wish to do so. I am currently at a limbo. I have wasted many many hours on chat or Whatsapp trying to sort this out. Help!

Hi, Thank you. The only thing is that a bill was already created for the incorrect sum for the next month. Will it be corrected automatically or will I need to contact customer service again?
