I’ve recently moved house to temporary rental until my new build is completed. I had our family home (4 bed bungalow since 1962 and my own home, 3 bed since 1996). As you can imagine I had A NUMBER (60+) of boxes that I had to transport. I know my VM equipment is in one of them (take a guess!!!) and I’m now being threatened that if I don’t return within one month I will be charged £40. As one person managing all of this it is taking me time to sort through (I’m hoping to get rid of A LOT). Who/how is best to contact. 🤦🏻♀️

Hi prettyp62,
Thanks for coming back and explaining further. There isn't a way to extend the timeframe I'm afraid. Once the 30 days are up, the non equipment charge would be added to the account. Once the equipment has then been returned, the team will process the return and credit the fee back to the account.
Apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.
Thanks,

Hi @prettyp62 thanks for posting although we're sorry to hear of your concerns raised.
We do appreciate a house move is stressful, and we don't want to add to it!
The communications that are generated are automated, so we can't stop these without the equipment being returned unfortunately but we do apologise for any inconvenience caused here.
If you do need any further help once the one month mark has passed, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Many thanks

Hi Tom
Thanks for your response however, sorry I should have said, I’m at the one month point, so my time is almost up. Who can I contact to extend the timeframe. I’m not planning on unpacking all the boxes as I will be moving again within the next 2 months hopefully. I really don’t need the hassle at the moment as there are many other things happening in the background too.
Regards

Morning Kath
Thank you for your informative reply. I will find it eventually in one the boxes as it is no use to me. Unfortunately, where I am and where I will be moving to does not supply a VM service (G71). Another quick question, my email is an ‘ntlworld.com’ account. Do I lose access to this as some point?? And will I have to start transferring important emails (many different files) out of this account?? My iPhone is my my “filing cabinet” as I keep all my stuff on it (including all my parents admin stuff - hoping to do some ‘house admin’ now they have both passed).
Apologies for changing the subject half way through. It really is a bit manic here - my ‘to do’ list seems to be never ending!!!
Kind regards
Pauline

Hello prettyp62.
Kath is away right now so I've picked up the reply for her.
Regarding your NTLworld email account, this will close 90 days after your disconnection date. Make sure you forward anything important to a new email address.
Sorry, it's another job added to your todo list.
We'd also like to wish you all the best in your new home.
