Cancelled virgin media gave 30 days notice as too expensive.
get called up with great price , get cut off.
call back to accept but all I get is 4 agents giving me exactly same word for word answers. No one will give me the deal I was offered.
it’s so annoying being offered tv when I say from start please do not offer me a tv package.
Then saying 4 times to 4 different agents no one works from home.
all I want is same package that I’m on but for price I was offered.

This is very worrying developments. Firstly customers like me are being offered 30-45% increases . Then if we ring up and cancel according to this forum ) some reps are either stopping people from canceling or
ringing up customers after canceling and
offering better deals only to deny it .

If you haven't received confirmation via email of new contract in next few days. I think you have every right ( if you wish) to go to the bank and cancel D.D payments . Make sure 100% your payments are meet up until the contract ends or next payment.
You could then write to VM to complain or write to the ombudsman to explain the breach in agreed contract . If VM once you stopped payments want to pursue a legal challenge ( they wouldn't want bad publicity ) then bring it on.

Hi @andybi78
Welcome to the community forums
Sorry to hear that a deal was offered by our outbound retentions team which ended suddenly.
These particular deals are only available from these teams for eligible customers and wouldn't be something the inbound teams could offer sadly. If the call ended without a resolution to the offer or an answer then the team will attempt to call you back at some point to carry on discussing the offer further with you.

Don’t think so as it’s now nearly time and I will be disconnected. Shame as been with virgin media a long time. Had I been offered this at the start when I said I’m thinking of leaving this would not have happened. I want to stay but for that price

Sorry to hear this @andybi78
We always take on board the feedback we receive so we can collect the information and use it to learn more about the areas we need to improve. We will certainly pass this information along to the relevant teams.
