Need a second virgin media broadband package

We have a virgin media package at the house which is running out soon. I would like to take over as account holder but do not want to wait the few months left in their contract.

I would like to proceed with getting a second broadband package. is this possible and if so how do I get in contact with someone from Virgin which seems to be impossible.

Just to clarify please, have you recently taken out an order with us in your name? If so, when was this please and has it been installed?

Or, are you wanting to cancel the existing contract in your housemates name?

Apologies, I didn't mean that I wanted to take over the existing account in a literal sense. I want to create a new account and get a new package alongside the existing package but paid for by two separate accounts.

The other package has a few months left after which it will be cancelled.

In relation to your query - we wouldn't be able to get a 2nd broadband package / account added on if there is an active account / line at the property.
This is because there is only one access point for the services to enter the property and one main line from the network.

If an account is due to close or ending soon, a second account can be setup to become the primary account once the initial services end.
But only one account can be there active at a time.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to cancel my order for the second account since it is not supported.

However, it is ridiculous that there is no simple way to cancel my order. I tried the text message but it just stated that text support is not supported. Can anyone help with the cancellation of my order?

Hi @ish222,

Thank you for your post and sorry for any misunderstandings, we can supply to house shares and flats, but the property would have to specify ie 1b, 1a or do both you and the current account holder live there?

I live in the same household as the other bill payer. Regardless, I have now gone with CF instead of VM and would still like to cancel my order if anyone can help.
