Leaving virgin but still receiving bills

I'm due to leave virgin media tomorrow june 2nd. I am still receiving bills for future usage that I won't be receiving. I fear this will mean my details will be passed to debt collectors and my credit score impacted for not paying a bill that I don't owe.

I cannot call support as the automated system will hang up on you on discovery of this unpaid bill. There is no way to contact anyone without paying this bill. This is highly frustrating and I imagine borderline illegal. Virgin, please contact me to resolve.

Same issue. Have email confirmation of end of services on June 2nd however have received a bill for future usage and cannot contact anyone without paying this bill first. Will more thank likely find my details being passed to debt collectors or my credit score being impacted if I don't pay a bill I don't owe. Very frustrating, probably borderline illegal.

Virgin, please contact me to sort this out.

Assuming you have already given VM your 30 days notice to cancel and 2 June is your disconnection date ...

You are billed on the normal billing cycle by VM right up until the day you are disconnected. This could mean you get bills showing future periods right up until your service is disconnected. Once you are disconnected, within a few days you should get a final bill from VM. If you are in debit you pay that and leave VM. If you are in credit VM should refund you the balance.

See https://www.virginmedia.com/help/leaving and the section "How does my final bill work"
