I've just seen my bill and there is a charge of £7.49 for use of adult channels. I don't think this is right as the channel (983) is listed as included with Maxit TV. When the pin was entered it mentioned a night pass being purchased but assumed this was an error, especially as there was no mention of how much the service would cost which seems like an extremely dodgy way of working as surely anything that's subject to a charge should be clearly stated?

If it mentioned anything about purchasing a night pass I think you might have wrongly assumed the channel was included although in your defence the TV guide here shows it's not the only adult channel included although it doesn't look like it is on the EPG. I would have thought they would all be PPV.
I think you might need to wait for one of the forum team to help on this.

Thanks Roy, my main problem with the whole thing is how it's classed as free multiple times (I checked the channel guide from August up to December) but then applicable to a mystery charge which isn't advertised anywhere. I can't work out how it's possible to have hidden charges automatically applied to your account without any notification. I appreciate I put my pin in, but you have to do that on any age restricted channel. And the terminology of 'unlock' seems misleading when it should really say 'enter pin to purchase night pass (£7.49)'.
