Did Virgin Media sort your issue and historically correct the late payment?
They have recently done the same to me even though I had a direct debit in place the entire time!!
The fact you get get an utterly useless and generic response that someone will get back to you in 21 days just shouldn't be acceptable in todays world with the speed of technology.
They must have so many corrections they need to make which speaks volumes for the quality of their services!
The fact that no one would treat your situation as a special case just goes to show the disregard Virgin Media have for their customers
