pompeygazza
On our wavelength

I'm out of contract, is there a way to downgrade my and remove stuff from my package online or do I have to call?

You seem to be able to upgrade online and cancel online but no downgrade.

Unfortunately no, you cannot downgrade online.

Thanks for reaching out to us @pompeygazza, and thanks for your post.

If you're able to call our team on 0345 454 1111 or 150 from your Virgin Media landline phone, our team will be on hand to discuss the requested downgrade with you.

Thanks,

Exactly!

Doing their best to have an elusive business model.

Well that stinks.  Surely if you can upgrade you should be able to downgrade in this day and age.

Well your team were distinctly unhelpful and the best offer they could do for just broadband was £55 a month for 250mbps, which is crap.  We've just had fibre installed in our street so I guess I'll be moving to that £27 a month for a Gig. with TOOB.

You can also shop here for the best overall package we offer but sometimes this may not include a downgrade but it does offer the best value for money packages we offer.

You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to cancel!  2 departments, same security questions even though I was transfered.  They won't let me have just tv without anything else.  I have internet 900mb at £25pcm why would I want it again for £55 for 250mb.  Wont be back.  52 minutes!!!!!!

Hi pompeygazza,

I'm afraid that we don't offer TV service as a standalone service, we can only apologise.

If you are looking to cancel your services completely, I can put in this request for you. I've sent you a private message so I can take your account details and help further from there.

Thank you
