Exclusive Offer--Recontract Now

My contract is up in 3 months and I've just had an email which says I have an exclusive renewal offer and there is a 'recontract now' button link. Sad to say I am wary of clicking on this link in case it actually signs me up for a new contract before I even see what the offer is.

Anyone else who has had this email can you confirm what clicking the link does. At the bottom of the email in the Ts an Cs it says to log onto 'My Virgin Media' to see this exclusive offer, but I've done that and nothing is showing.

Thanks for posting in regards to renewing and the email received, we're happy to help via the forums.

Does the email show the renewal package and cost? If so and you're happy then clicking the link will generate some consent documents that would need to be given before the package is put in place.

Even at this point and if the package was completed you would have the statutory 14 day cooling off period.
